Conference Bridge
Conference Bridge service allows up to 40 people to be connected in a conference call. Setting up conferences with the Conference Bridge is extremely easy.
- A unique ID number is assigned to each conference, and this ID number is given to each party in the conference.
- Each conference also has a Host, who has a password for security purposes. A conference is not established until the Host joins the conference and creates the conference.
- Conferences can be created with or without live operator assistance. Parties can join the conference at any time without operator assistance by calling the designated phone number and following the prompts to enter the conference ID with touchtones.
- As parties are added and deleted from conferences, special beep tones are played to all of the remaining parties. operators can also assist with conferences. They can listen to, join, add parties to, and create new conferences.
- ACA’s powerful digital technology provides crystal clear conferencing sound with minimal audio loss as parties are added to the conference.
- Conferences can be automatically recorded into voicemail for later playback. The recordings can be e-mailed to clients as a WAV file using eVoiceLink.
- The Conference Bridge is an optional software application and does not require additional hardware, with the possible exception of additional telephony capacity.
